Today we decided to head over to Logan! I love Logan, especially in the winter time...it is so beautiful! Well this weekend we thought we would visit and hang out with Aunt Shua, since it was her birthday on Monday. We went seleigh riding on Old Main Hill, and played in the snow. Later, Nana, and Grandma Dorothy came over and we all ate dinner. We love you Aunt Sharon! Hope that it was a wonderful weekend for you! Happy Birthday!!

So, I am the biggest BLACKER! (blog slacker according to Candis) I really promise to get better at posting, especially for Katie! :) So I hadn't posted any pictures from Christmas time, and my kids were definately spoiled this year! For that we will give a special shout out to the grandparents! Landon got a Wii,(well, we all got one, but don't tell Landon that) and Mally got a doll house and they both got a cute little puppy, from Santa. After much contemplation, and a few name changes we named her Princess Leia. She is so cute and white!! She is a miniature schnauzer, same kind of dog I always had growing up. They really love her! When they woke up that morning, she was just laying in her bed and Landon kept asking if she was real....so so cute! Mally said, "She is the most gorgeous puppy I have ever seen." Family Reunion

My Family has reunions all summer long. Memorial Day is the first one. This Adorable picture of Mally was taken at a park up in Fielding. The reunion was great, we eat, the kids play games, and win prizes, but this really was the only picture worth posting! Landon didn't want to stay at the Reunion, he went and fed horses with Jon. He just can't miss one second without Jon when we are in Tremonton. He just thinks he is the best thing on earth! Anyway, Mally loved this big old field full of weeds...LOL. She thought that each little "flower" was great!

I am pretty sure that this was one of the BEST days of Landon's life so far! We had a Superhero Birthday party. All the kids were invited to the Superhero Headquarters to help a Web-Slinging Super Hero save the day and find the birthday cake!! It was great, Spiderman came and found the stolen cake! I made all the kids a cape, and we played two games that gave clues to what superhero was coming to the party to save the day. The first one we got yarn and tied them all together to make a web. Second, Melanie and I filled balloons with spiders, and they had to stomp on them to see what came out. They were some smart kids and totally figured it out. Then Spiderman showed up.....not everyone thought that was fun. Poor Brynlee, was hiding under Landon's bed screaming....poor girl. Spiderman jumped all around, and found the cake!! By the way, I made one cake all by myself, and Lorna made another one for the family party! It was a great party!

Mallory loves to play with Landon, expecially "PIDERMAAAN", as she calls it. She will run around webbing and being spiderman. She really only gets a chance with the mask when Landon is busy or at preschool. When she put this mask on she said, "Hurry mom, picture!!" She is a little bit of a tease. Adorable though, absolutely adorable!

Winter Fun at Hardware Ranch

Nana and Casey took all of us to Hardware Ranch one Saturday. It was great fun! Here is Mallory and Presley waiting to ride the wagon, enjoying a donut and some hot chocolate. They are so cute together!

Ok, So I know that I am totally behind here. I have not posted for a long time. Here are some pictures from Christmas time. Landon is completely amazed, obsessed, and absolutely crazy about Spiderman. He thinks that one day he is actually going to turn into Spiderman. He got great stuff for Christmas; Star wars toys, playdough, dinosaurs, him and Mally both got a great art easel, with lots of art supplies. Mally got a baby, a cute doctor kit, a pony, a cute doll house, and some little princess babies. Out of all that though Landon was still a little disappointed, all he wanted was a Spiderman mask. (I really didn't think it was so important before Christmas) He was actually a little disappointed all day, and he got plenty of presents cause he has a huge family. Anyway, Nana saved the day. He got a Spiderman Mask, and a Web Blaster!!! He was in complete heaven. He put on his Spiderman mask, and suit (really pjs), and his web blaster, and he webbed everyone!! It was great!!

Spider Mania.....

Ok, I can't promise that this will be the end of hearing about Spiderman. He is a very well known person in our house. I heard on the radio that Spiderman was going to be at the South Towne Expo Center for a free kids fair. So we packed up pretty much our whole house, and picked up Grandma Dorothy, and headed to Salt Lake for the day. Landon pretty much was in heaven all day. He met some of the Star Wars Characters, and of course Spiderman. He got his autograph and this great picture. Out of a good 300 people, he was honestly the only little kid that was dressed up. This is definately his hero. Spiderman did a little show about safety, and about strangers, and being a buddy not a bully. It was great. There are some more pictures...We had a few hours to waste before the expo so we went to the Sandy Living Planet Aquarium. It was a really really fun day.

The Pirates are back!! These two have got to be the most adorable pirates I have ever seen! Sorry, I am a little partial. They loved it. Mally really loved it. When we went to have Candis take these pictures, Mally ran right on in, and sat down on a little stool. She kept posing and saying, "CHEESE", "CUTE", "CHEESE". It was so adorable! She really thought that she was something else. If you ask her what a pirate says she will say "Yo Ho Me", cute, I know! Landon, he was just in heaven really getting to be Jack Sparrow. He loved it. He wanted to wear his costume all weekend. They really are some fun little pirates!

Captain Jack Sparrow sets sail......

Jack set sail this morning on his first adventure.......(ADORABLE)! He is off in the Black Pearl (Passat actually, but hey isn't imagination great), on his way to Tortuga to round him up some weaselly pirates. I really hope that he stays away from Miss Swan. He was completely ready for the days adventures with his canteen of sugar rum, his pistol, and his telescope! Talley-Ho mates! I will be updating you on the adventures of Capn' Jack and the fearless crew that he picks up over the next few days!!

Time really does fly by! I was just looking at all the pictures on our computer today, and this one I just love. Landon had the chubbiest little face, ADORABLE ! I can't think of a better word to say about this picture. I really might have to wipe some serious tears if I keep thinking about it, but time sure does fly by. This was taken at Little America with the Hess family, Landon's first Christmas. He is 8months old in this picture. This was also the weekend that he said his very first word, it was "DOG". We were in the gift shop with Lorna, and she was showing him this little puppy and without any help he just said "DOG", plain as could be, with no coaxing at all. I was so surprised, I cried then, and I just might cry thinking about it now. I was listening to conference today, and this picture totally puts in into perspective of how time really goes by so fast and how we should always cherish these great moments. They are some of the best times so far in my life. Well, I really gotta get the kleenex now, maybe you will too.....

I have been using this new program, it is called LDSJournal. It is a website that you use just like a journal, you record anything, and it just stores it for you, and then you can have it made into a book if you want eventually. Anyway, I just wanted to share this entry from the other day, it is just typical Landon, and I thought that you would all enjoy this......
This little miracle that runs around this house, hunting every bear, lion, tiger, deer, elk, and bird that existed, is just amazing. I love to see the way that his little mind works. So full of curiosity, and amazement by every little thing. This morning we pulled weeds outside in one of the flower beds. He started discovering that there we very nay bugs in this flower bed. He got a bucket, and started collecting. He found a slug, YUCK, and he just thought it was great, he would hold it and say; " Hello little slug, you are just so cute!" Then he found every single centipede that was in that flower bed, and each and every single one was his very best friend. He is not too fond of the worms, but he still picked up a few and added them to his collection. He was convinced that worms could bite, but when I told him that they didn't even have teeth he was so relieved. "That's pretty cool" he said. He didn't like the potato bugs, especially when they uncurled from their ball and started walking on his hand, it was a little too much. He then found the fattest little brown caterpillar that I have ever seen, it was so fat, but very short, barely an inch long. He was just a holding it in his hand, rubbing it's little tummy, and talking to it. All of a sudden, he says; "Mom! Look, what is this??" His hand had all this green slime on it! Yuck! I said; "I think that it is poop!" He then said (as he rubbed the bugs tummy); "It's ok little caterpillar if you poop on me, you will still be my friend." He didn't even want to wash his hand off in the hose, MR. CLEAN, didn't even care. He just said " It was just a assident" (his words exactly). Oh, the innocence of children....I was rather grossed out. Not Landon, he just thought it was an "assident". So I guess that I learned a little bit of a lesson today from my three-year old.....Even when you get pooped on, jut brush it off, and forgive, Love everyone, even the worms that gross you out sometimes!! What a big lesson from such a little spirit. I love that children never stop teaching us, especially this one!

Little Rock Star

Oh Landon, he seriously thinks that he is a rock star. He just cracks me up. Today, he got dressed all by himself, like he always does; mister independent.He came out of his room with his white sweatband with a soccer ball on it, his Alaska PJ shirt, covered in peanut butter, and tucked right on in to his shorts. He was all ready to go to the store with me. I told him I had to shower and get ready and then we could go. So to pass the time he decided that he would rock n’ roll. He really loves old rock n’ roll music. His very favorite song right now is “Juke Box Hero”. Anyway, I turned on the music, and he just rocks out! He stands in the middle of the room, and spins around kicking his legs up in the air, and just rockin’. He loves to dance, and really loves music, I hope that it stays with him, and that he can really develop a talent someday.
